Is it just me or is salmon really hard for some people to get just right at home? A lot of my clients tell me they love eating salmon at restaurants, but struggle to cook it at home in a way everyone enjoys. Enter: Ina Garten’s Asian Salmon! This recipe is easy, delicious, and always a crowd favorite. I’ve grilled it and baked it, and it’s good every time. I swear the marinade is magic and would make anything delicious. While the original recipe calls for it to be grilled, we always just throw it in the oven and it’s just as good.

Ingredients:⁣

*2-3lbs Salmon⁣

Marinade: ⁣
*2 Tbs Dijon mustard⁣
*3 Tbs soy sauce⁣
*6 Tbs olive oil (I often do less)⁣
*1 tsp minced garlic⁣

-Salt and pepper your salmon fillet. ⁣
-Mix up marinade ingredients with a whisk. ⁣
-Pour half of the marinade over your salmon; reserve the other half for topping cooked salmon. ⁣
-Allow salmon to sit in marinade while or oven grill is preheating.⁣
-Grill salmon over medium-high heat, or bake until flakey and not overcooked (for us this is at 400 degrees for about 30-40 mins)⁣
-Pour reserved marinade over it, and allow it to rest for 10 minutes.

This recipe is great for entertaining, family dinners, or for meal prep (because yes, it even tastes great cold!). I always recommend adding salmon into your diet, as it’s one of the best sources of Omega 3 fatty acids, and a great source of protein and healthy fat. Add this asian salmon to your weekly menu and enjoy!
